Shapely Agents can integrate with legacy systems

Our agents now work in systems that have no API, through the screen, the way your team does.

Shapely OS Live sessions: twelve agents at work in old business systems

In most large companies, the work that costs the most runs through systems built long before anyone talked about AI: a billing system from the nineties, a reservations terminal, a claims application on a Windows server. They have no API, or one that covers a small part of what people do in them. Connecting them usually means a long integration project, so automation stops where these systems start.

Our agents can now work in those systems through the screen, the way your team does.

How it works

Each agent gets its own account, like a new employee, in a session your IT team controls. It reads what is on the screen, finds the field it needs, types, clicks and checks the result before it moves on. If a window looks different from usual, it reads it again instead of failing like a script would.

Every action is recorded. You can watch any session live in Shapely OS and take over at any moment.

People stay in charge

You decide which actions need a person. A refund above a limit, a change to bank details, a contract term: the agent stops, a person approves in Shapely OS, and the agent carries on from where it stopped.

Screen or API

When a system has a good API, we use it: it is faster and simpler to maintain. The screen is for the systems that have none, or when building the connection would take months. Many workflows mix both, and the agent moves from one to the other as your people do.

Where to start

Pick a task your team does by hand across two or three old systems, the one everybody wants to get rid of. Show us how it is done today. Our engineers will put an agent on it, next to your team, and keep the systems you already have.
